What To Do And What Not To Do In Case Of A Computer/Hard Drive Crash

If you have a computer/hard drive crash usually most of the data on failed drive will be recoverable. If you experience a complete system crash and you wish to recover the data on your hard drive:

Immediately unplug the computer and remove the drive. Never attempt to reboot.
Never execute any system software, such as scan disck or chkdsk to repair the file system. This software will overwrite data.

Never open a hard drive case. It should only be opened in a clean room.

I will not open your hard drive case to recover your data. If your hard drive requires a clean room I will advise you on which company would be best. Most hard drives will not require opening the hard drive case to recover the data.

In cases of water, fire, or other damage to the computer, do not attempt to power up a system. Doing so will destroy the disk's magnetic layer and may cause the data to be non-recoverable.

If your computer has crashed and you need the data call me. I provide data recovery services. In most cases I can restore the data from your old hard drive even if the computer has suffered catastrophic damage. I can return your recovered data in a variety of ways, including CD, DVD or copying it to a new hard drive. How I return the data is based on the volume of the data and the tools the customer has available to reload their recovered data.

I can also recover accidentally deleted data. Providing critical data recovery for business and personal computers. Competitive prices for data recovery.
No fee unless your data has been recovered.
